URL Clerk 1.2 - URL Clerk is a URL filer/launcher. URLs are stored in standard files, so they could be placed in the Apple Menu for easy access. Any text or clipping file that contains a valid URL can be dragged onto URL Clerk, and the URL will be opened (or the file can be dragged onto the included Bookmarker application, which will turn it
into a URL Clerk file). URL Clerk supports manual URL entry. This is useful when, for
example, somebody posts a URL without the <http://> or <ftp://> prefix, meaning you canﾕt command-click on it to launch it (command clicking on URLs is a feature offered by the excellent NewsWatcher program and the similarly excellent ICeTEe extension). You can, however, copy it to the clipboard, type the appropriate prefix in URL Clerkﾕs Enter URL dialog, and paste the URL after it, ready to be launched or saved.
